Retired Farmer, Dies
John Harvey Angle, 89, of rural
route 5, Logansport, a retired
farmer, died at 9:05 a.m.
Monday unexpectedly at his
home.
Born May 4, 1874 in Franklin
County, Va., he was the son of
Benjamin and Catherine Fish-
er Angle. His marriage on April
20 1904 was to India Boone.
He was a member of the
Mexico German Baptist church
The last of a family of nine
children, he had resided in the
Adamsboro community for 53 years.
Survivors include nine daugh-
ers, Mrs. Eliasa Carney, Lo-
gansport; Mrs. Ralph Sullivan,
rural route 5, Peru; Mrs. Rob-
ert Morris, Indianapolis; Mrs,
Everett Miller, Rives Junction,
Mich.; Mrs. Owen Jones, rural
route 4, Peru; Mrs. Sam Harrison
Rochester; Mrs. John Burkholder
New Waverly; Mrs. Carl
J Scott and Mrs. Robert Kmgery
rural route 5, Logansport;
Mrs. James Maverick, Peru,
whom they raised; 32 grandchildren,
and 23 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held
at 2 p m. Thursday at the Mexico
German Baptist church. Burial
will be in Bethel cemetery in
Cass county.
Friends may call at the Mc-
Cain funeral home after 2 p.m.
Tuesday. The family has re-
quested that flowers be omitted.
