Mrs. India B. Angle, 92, Rt. 5, Logansport, died at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Dukes Memorial Hospital, Peru.
She had been ill since Christmas.
Born in Franklin County, Virginia, Dec. 31, 1881, she was the daughter of Mordecai and Mary Ellen Montgomery Boone. She was married in Rocky Mountain, Virginia, April 20, 1904, to John Harvey Angle, who died March 16, 1964.
She was a member of Mexico German Baptist Church.
Survivors include nine daughters, Mrs. Vernie Carney, Rt. 4, Logansport; Mrs. Carl J. Scott and Mrs. Margaret Kingery, both of Rt. 5, Logansport; Mrs. Esther Morris, Pamona Beach, Florida; Mrs. Addie Miller, Rives Junction, Michigan; Mrs. Owen Jones, Rt. 4, Peru; Mrs. Mildred Harrison, Rt. 4, Rochester; Mrs. Maxine Burkholder, New Waverly; and Mrs. Ruby Sullivan, Rt. 5, Peru. Also surviving are Mrs. Jane Maverick, Peru, a granddaughter raised by Mr. and Mrs. Angle; one sister, Mrs. Bessie Ritchie, Harrisburg, Virginia; four brothers, J.P. Wabash, John, Canyon City, Colorado, Harry, Banning, California and Cline, Wirtz, Virginia; 32 grandchildren and 48 great grandchildren. Two sons preceded her in death.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Mexico German Baptist Church, Elders L.D. Wolf and Morris Wagnor officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery.
