Randy M. Adams, 58, died at his Big Horn residence Friday, May 15, 1998, from cancer.
The family held a reception in his honor Monday at the Big Horn Women's Club.
Cremation has taken place.
Mr. Adams was born Jan. 30, 1940, in Dayton to Harry and Helen Hanson Adams. He attended Dayton and Tongue River schools. He played in the last six-man football game in 1957.
He worked two years on the Alaska Pipeline and then worked as a heavy equipment operator for Decker Coal, retiring after 20 years of service.
He married Catherine (Rene) Botos July 21, 1967, in Sheridan. The couple made their home in Big Horn the past 20 years.
He enjoyed fishing on his pontoon boat, camping in the Big Horn Mountains, woodworking and photography.
Survivors include his wife Catherine (Rene) of Big Horn; one step-daughter, Becky Dillon of Toronto, Canada; two sisters, Nancy Cooley of Sheridan, and Wendy Norskog of Kingman, Ariz.; two nieces, three nephews, three great nieces and four great nephews.
Memorials can be sent to the Chemo Radiation Department at the Welch Cancer Building or the Big Horn Women's Club in care of Delphine Toner, First Interstate Bank, Box 2007, Sheridan, Wyo. 82801.
