Mrs Ora Schilling Adams, 72, of Dixon, formerly of this community, died at 9:00 o'clock Sunday night at her home in Dixon of kidney trouble. She had been in failing health for some time and had been seriously ill for the past three weeks.
As Ora Schilling, daughter of George and Tamzin Schilling, she was born January 10, 1868, on a farm northwest of this city.
She was married December 27, 1893, with William Adams, at the home of the bride's parents, and they farmed in this vicinity until 1911, when they went to Dixon.
Surviving are her husband, William; one daughter, Mrs. Grace Broscoviak of Sterling; one son, George Schilling of Dixon; one grandson; and two brothers, Homer Schilling oŁ Pontiac, and Edward Schilling of Minonk.
