. The family memorial stone has several errors on it. Not only did they spell Almeda's name incorrectly (see the headstone photo I took in Sep 2021), the have her age incorrect as well. She was born on May 14th, 1858 in Bernadotte, Fulton County, Illinois, and was on the wagon train when the family migrated west in 1862. She couldn't have been 11 years old in January 1869.
