A memorial service will be held Saturday, May 14, 2011 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Leo Catholic Church, Pipestone.
Visitation will be held Friday, May 13 from 5-8 p.m. at St. Leo Catholic Church, Pipestone, with rosary at 7 p.m. followed by a prayer service.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 14 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Leo Catholic Church.
Interment will be in the church cemetery.

Obituary for Elaine Agnitsch
was born to Phillip and Mary (Petersen) Legler on May 14, 1928 near Avoca, Minnesota. In 1936, they moved to a farm near Woodstock, Minnesota where she was raised and attended school. On May 11, 1948, she was united in marriage to Leon Agnitsch at St. Leo Catholic Church in Pipestone, Minnesota. Following their marriage, they resided in Pipestone where she was employed at Juba's Super Valu, the Department of Motor Vehicles and the Pipestone County Museum. Elaine resided at Falls Landing Assisted Living in Pipestone until early April of this year. She moved to Boutwell's Landing in Stillwater, Minnesota on April 14th to be near her family. She died there on Monday, April 18, 2011 at the age of 82 years, 11 months and four days.
Elaine was a member of St. Leo Catholic Church in Pipestone where she was active in Ladies' Aid and Catholic Daughters of America (past District Deputy). She was also a member of Pipestone Christian Women's Club. In later years, she became a volunteer driver for the Pipestone County Senior Center and volunteered at the Pipestone County Hospice House.
She is lovingly remembered by her daughter, Marcia Mazanec and husband Tracy of Stillwater, Minnesota and son, Jeffrey Agnitsch of Minneapolis, Minnesota; three beloved grandsons, Shawn Murphy, Michael Murphy and Matthew Mazanec and two cherished great-grandsons, Mekhi and Ryley. She was preceded in death by her husband, Leon in 2006 marking 58 years of marriage.
