Funeral services were held Saturday, February 16 at Peace Lutheran Church in Ruthton with Pastor Gary Veit officiating.
Casket bearers were her grandsons.
Interment was in Peace Lutheran Cemetery, rural Ruthton.
Delores Dammann was born June 5, 1940 to William and Mildred (Berning) Schwebach in Granville, Iowa. They later moved to Elkton, S.D. where Delores attended school.
She married Virgil Dammann on Oct. 10, 1959 at Peace Lutheran Church in Ruthton. They farmed for three years before moving to Garden Grove., Calif., where she was a daycare provider. They returned to Minnestoa in 1993 and retired in Delavan.
She is survived by her husband, Virgil; six children: Allen (Carolyn) Dammann; Dean (Amy) Dammann; Debra (Mark) Herndon; Mark (Tina) Dammann; Tammy Dammann and Albert (Jessica) Dammann; four brothers: Bill Schwebach; Bud (Jolene) Schwebach; Virgil (Rhonda) Schwebach and Clifford (Tammy) Schwebach; one sister, Theresa (Lyle) Meyer; and sister-in-law, Magdalene (Dammann) Peterson; 17 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Sandra; parents William and Mildred Schwebach; parents-in-law Albert and Birtha Dammann; brother and sister-in-law Paul and Viola Kittleson; brother-in-law Clare Peterson and sister-in-law Barbara Schwebach.
