Jack Leroy Altonen, 85, Duluth, died Thursday, March 31, 2016, at Essentia Health, St Mary's Medical Center.
A graveside service was held in July at Oneota Cemetery.
Arrangements were by Williams Lobermeier Boettcher Funeral Home.
Jack was born July 26, 1930, in Duluth, to Nestor and Lillian Altonen. He graduated from Denfeld High School in 1948 and attended the University of Minnesota, Duluth. He married Beverly Anderson October 13, 1950, in Duluth. He was in sales for Kraft Foods and, following his retirement, worked at Menards in Hermantown.
Jack was a member of Our Savior's Lutheran Church and was a past member of the Euclid Masonic Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Scott Altonen.
