Birth: Jan. 14, 1955
Death: Aug. 26, 2013

Jack E. Alexander, age 58, died at home on Monday, August 26, 2013 after a six year long and hard fought battle with head and neck cancer.

Jack is survived by his wife, and two children.

Jack now goes to join his son Christian Alexander, his Grandmother, Clara Belle Millard, and his father Jack Alexander Sr.

Jack also leaves behind a loving family: his parents, his 2 sisters and their husbands 2 brothers and their wives, two grandchildren, a daughter, and many incredible nieces and nephews.

Jack was proud that he served this country as a US Army MP during the Vietnam War.

He worked at George Mason University for 30 years, and then at Home Depot in his retirement. Home Depot was his dream job as he worked as the Power Equipment Specialist ("Tractor Man") and had a ball serving the residents of Fauquier County and working and laughing with his co-workers.

Jack is a member of the American Legion Post #72 and Haymarket Masonic Lodge No. 313.

Jack was one of those unforgettable personalities that you were fortunate to meet in life.

We will all miss his jokes and wisdom. He will be greatly missed but remembered forever.

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 28 from 6-8 PM at Moser Funeral Home where services will be held on Thursday, August 29 at 4 PM.

Private interment at Bright View Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Jeremy & Joel Alexander College Fund.
