E.D. Lyman, 88, 2309 Terry Lane, Sarasota, died Friday (July 18, 1980) at Sarasota Memorial Hospital. Born in Redwood Falls, Minnesota, he lived in Sarasota 15 years, coming from Sebeka, Minnesota.
He was a bank president for many years before retiring; member of Sebeka Methodist Church; member of Wadena Masonic Lodge No. 156, Wadena; member of A&A Scottish Rite and Zuhruh Shrine Temple, of Minneapolis; life member of Berg-Nylund American Legion Post No. 456, Sebeka; veteran of U.S. Navy with service in World War I.
He leaves his wife, Florence Lyman of Sarasota; three daughters, Alice Burmaster of Omaha, Nebraska; Mary Ann Johnson of Sebeka; and Inez Wilcox of Minneapolis; a sister, Sue Lund of Tracy; 8 grandchildren.
Memorial services were held at 3 P.M. Tuesday at Toale Brothers Gulf Gate Chapel, Sarasota, with Rev. William Compton officiating. Inurnment was made in Marshall Cemetery, Wadena County, Minnesota.
