BRIMFIELD - Erica I. Allen, 18, of 133 W. Clinton St. died at 12:40 p.m. in rural Brimfield as the result of a motor vehicle accident.

She was born Oct. 19, 1991, in Peoria to Keith and Deana (Jones) Allen. They both survive.

Also surviving are one brother, Jacob Allen at home; maternal grandparents, Chuck and Marilyn Jones of Hopedale; paternal grandparents, Kenneth and Betty Allen of Brimfield; maternal great-grandfather, William Peacock, and paternal great-grandmother, Lenora Kell of Brimfield; four aunts, Lisa Jones of Hopedale, Kathy Hippen of Deer Creek, Lori Vance of Brimfield and Lisa Allen of Brimfield; and one uncle, Jerry Jones of Hopedale.

Erica was attending Illinois Central College, majoring in social work.

She worked at Burger King on Allen Road in Peoria. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 11, 2010, at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Elmwood. Visitation will be held from 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Brimfield Cemetery.
