Dennis Michael Backholm was born on March 22, 1947 to Emil and Olga (Lapinoja) Backholm in Wadena, Minnesota He enjoyed life on the family farm, riding his favorite horse, Sleepy and spending time with his nieces and nephews. His favorite pastime was watching sports and westerns on TV. Dennis worked at the DAC in Sebeka and the Wadena Technical School.
Those preceding Dennis in death include his parents, brothers, Harold and Willard, sister, Alice Graba, niece Melanie Neddo, and nephews, Bruce Schermerhorn and Lee Graba.
Memorial Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, May 31, 2014 at the Sebeka United Methodist Church in Sebeka, MN. Inurnment will be at Huntersville City Cemetery.
