Aged Resident Dead
Mr. John Jacobson passed away at the home of his daughter, Mrs. George Larson of North Ottawa Wednesday afternoon at 4:30 o'clock at the venerable age of 91 years, 6 months and 10 days.
Mr. Jacobson was born in Christiana, Norway, on February 13, 1831, and was united in marriage to Miss Rodina Olson there. They came to America about fifty years ago and settled at Red Wing, this state, where they lived until five years ago when they came to North Ottawa to make their home with their daughter.
The deceased is survived by his wife and four daughters, Mrs. George Larson of North Ottawa, Mrs. William Freeman of Los Angeles, Calif., Mrs. A. J. Olson of Dawson, and Mrs. T. A. Dybdal of this village and two sons, Edwin and Joseph of Red Wing. A sister, Mrs. Hans Hanson, of Herman also survives. Another sister, Mrs. Iver Anderson of this village, died about three years ago.
The funeral will be held this [Friday] afternoon at the Church of God, Hereford, with Rev. Green, the pastor officiating. Interment will be made in the Hereford cemetery.
The Tribune joins the numerous friends of the bereaved relatives in extending sympathy.
