Leaving his parents [redacted for privacy], brothers [redacted; 2 total], grandparents [redacted], uncles, aunts, cousins and many friends to carry on his spirit. Matthew left our world in his sleep early Wednesday morning to his place in heaven. Matthew was a Special Boy that made all those in his presence better, stronger and wiser. He graduated Westmont High School in 2008 and attended vocational classes at Campbell Community Center. His passion in life was horses and he rode weekly at One Step Closer an equestrian facility for special horsemen. He loved puzzles, Zambonis, dogs, the beach, Barney videos, cheeseburgers and most of all the gathering of his family. He was a Special Olympian, earned the Arrow of Light in Scouting, played Challenger Little League and he participated in many equestrian events where he earned an assortment of ribbons. This world will never be the same.

This month marks two years since you died. I am so sorry how you lost your life at a very young age. After two years since your death, you have not been forgotten and never will be forgotten. -Anonymous Added: Sep. 24, 2013
