William Albert Barr, who has been confined to St. Michael's hospital for the past month after a series of strokes, passed away at 11:30 p.m. on August 12th. At his bedside at the time of his passing were his daughters, Mrs. J. William Zulch of Blackfoot, Idaho, and Mrs. Franklin Hardin of Duluth, Minnesota, and Mr. Hardin. Funeral services were held at the Episcopal church on Saturday, August 15th at 2 o'clock in the afternoon with the Rev. N. Schoenheider, Vicar of the church, officiating at the services. Dr. J.C. Grant, organist. Interment was made in Greenwood cemetery with Corrigan's Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. The pallbearers wer Jim Kinsella, Donald Otto, Franklin Hardin, Grover Forster, John Parker and Wm Parker Jr. Mr. Barr was born on March 22, 1877, at New Paris, Ohio. Upon finishing school he went to Chicago and after fifty years on the road as a salesman, retired in May.
