Alm, age 86, passed away at St. Michael's Hospital, Sauk Centre on Sunday, October 28. She was born in Deer Creek, MN, May 9, 1887, the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Harms. On Feb. 27, 1907 she married Fred Alm of Fairmont, MN. They farmed near Osakis and Westport until 1947 when they retired and moved to Sauk Centre. She was a member of the Zion Lutheran Church, Sauk Centre. She was preceded in death by her husband on March 13, 1952. Survivors include nine children: Norman, Osakis; Mrs. Irwin (Bernice) Reichart, New Virginia, Iowa; Melvin, Alexandria; Carroll, Worthington, MN; Mrs. Edwin (Gladys) Zarbok, Villard; Mrs. Floyd (Dorothy) Van Amber, Alexandria; Mrs. Roy (Clarice) Personius, Jordan, MN; LeRoy, Cottonwood, MN and Mrs. Verlan (Shirley) Dickison of Waite Park; 34 grandchildren, and 49 great-grandchildren; as well as a sister, Mrs. Anna Lueth, St. Paul. Funeral services were held Tuesday at 1:30 p.m. at Zion Lutheran Church, with the Rev. Robert Aumann officiating, Catherine Tenhoff was the vocalist, accompanied by Gail Gamradt at the organ. Pallbearers were grandsons: Milton Zarbok, Dennis Personius, Darrel Van Amber, Raymond Alm, Michael Alm and Keith Reichert. Interment was made in the family lot in Greenwood Cemetery. Arrangements were by Corrigan Funeral Home.
