Birth: unknown
Death: Mar. 19, 2009

Age 78 of Plymouth. Ed was a 1955 graduate of Gettysburg College. He began his long and successful business career in 1956 as a Public Relations writer for the American Petroleum Institute in New York City. From 1957 to 1973, he was CEO of Edwards, Roberts & Edwards, Philadelphia, PA, which helped many companies establish national distribution through franchising. There, Ed directed marketing and managed a large sales team. A born entrepreneur and inventor, in 1974 Ed began to develop and patent an extensive line of automatic donut, pancake and crepe producing machines and accessories. At the same time he founded Lil' Orbits, Inc. to be the manufacturer and marketer of his products to business operators in the U.S. and internationally. Under the Lil' Orbits (USA) and Orbie (International) brands, the company grew to become a market leader with customers in more than 100 countries around the world. When the internet came along, Ed used his technical and creative abilities to build his own web site which greatly added to the success of the company. Ed received the President's "E" award from President Bush for outstanding export sales. During 1974-2003 Ed developed and patented an oil and water separator which is used by major companies to clean up pollutants. In 2005, Ed was voted Business Man of the Year for Minnesota by the RNC. Ed somehow found time to write his autobiographical book "Climbing Jacob's Ladder," which was published nationally.
