Mrs. Harry Aney, 40, to Be Buried at Chatfield Saturday
Funeral Services will be conducted Saturday for Mrs. Harry Aney, 40, who died Wednesday at 12:30 p.m. after an illness of two weeks.
Formerly Miss Lucy A. Baker, she was born in Jordan township, Fillmore County, February 11, 1902, and was rural teacher in the county for many years. She was married to Mr. Aney October 12, 1940.
Survivors are her husband; her father, James Baker, Chatfield; one sister, Mrs. John Meeker, Chatfield, and one brother, James C. Baker, residing south of here. Her mother died in July 1941.
Services Saturday will be at 2 p.m. at the Presbyterian church, the Rev. S.C. Jepson officiating. Preliminary services will be conducted at the home at 1:30 p.m. Burial will be in the Chatfield cemetery.
