Frances Amelia Boisvert, a resident of Little Falls, MN, died Oct. 14, 2003, at Monticello Nursing Home.
Mass of Christian Burial was held Oct. 18 at St. Maryís Catholic Church in Little Falls with Father Nick Landsberger officiating. Burial was held at Calvary Cemetery in Little Falls.
Frances A. Boisvert was born on Nov. 18, 1905, in Little Falls, to the late Vincent and Josephine (Sypnieski) Pilarski. She grew up and attended rural school in Little Falls. When Frances was four years old, her mother passed away. She then went to live with her fatherís sister, Etta, in Duluth, MN. Francesí father married Mary Stoltman and then she came to live with them. Frances married Jerome Boisvert on Nov. 24, 1924, in Little Falls. Together they farmed and raised their family. After Jeromeís death, Frances continued farming with her son Lawrence. In her later years, she sold the farm and moved to a nursing home at the age of 90. She enjoyed traveling and helping others. She was a member of Farmers Union in Little Falls and was a Rural Youth Leader in Little Falls.
Survivors include her daughters, Evelyn Ploharz of Orofino, ID and Dorothy Daleiden and husband Kenneth of St. Michael, MN; daughter-in-law Opal Boisvert of Spring Lake Park, MN; half-brother Mike Pilarski of Port Charlotte, FL; half sisters, Julia Pilarski and Marion Stinski both of Menasha, WI, Bernice Van Elzen of Kimberly, WI, Louise Ponto and husband Art of Menasha, WI, Rosemary Selinski and husband Ray of Menasha, and Jenny Schultz of Menasha; 17 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
