Frances married Robert Reynolds on October 28, 1834 in New York city. They had 8 children.
Frances was a most aristocratic lady and had a great flair for hats and either worked in a millinery shop or had one of her own when she met Robert. They started moving westward, probably in a covered wagon, and had reached Bunton Falls, New Jersey when Frances was born on 23 November 1835 . Then on to Pittsburgh, Pa. where Robert II was born on 7 September1837 and Henry was born on 28 February 1840 . Both boys died in the winter of 1840, Robert in January and Henry in April . After the birth of Robert Henry on 12 June 1842, the family moved farther west and settled for a few years in Waukash, Wisconsin where it is believed that Louisa Sophia was born 28 October 1845 and Charles Wesley was born on 16 March 1848 . As of now it is not known whether William James born July 18, 1850 at Waukasha, Wisconsin or at Rippon, Wisconsin which was the birth place of George Edgar on 15 April 1851 . From there they came to Steele County, Minnesota and was one of the early settlers in 1856.
