Opal Dahl was born July 22, 1923, near Bejou. She attended school near Bejou and graduated from high school in Gary, Minn., in 1943. She married Wayne Tommervik on May 18, 1943, in Rindal, Minn. She operated Rindal Café for two years. They then farmed near Gary until 1949, when they began farming near Bejou. She entered the nursing home in October 2000.
