RUSHFORD -- The funeral for Harold Vernon Agrimson will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Root River Community Church, Rushford, with the Rev. Peter Enns officiating. Burial will be in the Arendahl Cemetery.
Mr. Agrimson, 78, of Rushford died Friday (July 27, 2007), at his home.
Born Jan. 24, 1929, in Sebeka, Minn. , he married Harriet Brostrom in Lake City on March 29, 1952.
He farmed south of Utica for 20 years and subsequently worked in poultry sales and service.
Mr. Agrimson had lived in Peterson for 32 years and in Rushford for the past four years.
He was an elder at Root River Community Church. He enjoyed traveling with his wife, fishing, cheering his grandchidren at their sports events, piecing together puzzles, playing Scrabble and visiting with friends.
Survivors include his wife; four sons, Duane (Shirley), Glenn (Wendy) and Mike (Kristi), all of Peterson, and Dale (Pam) of New Richland, Minn.; a daughter, Lavonne (Dale) Hoagland of Glencoe, Minn; 24 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; and a brother Joel (Kitty) of Eden Prairie, Minn. He was preceded in death by a grandson, two great-grandchildren and four brothers.
Friends may call at Hoff Funeral Homes-Rushford Chapel from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. today and one hour prior to the service at the church on Tuesday.
