Arthur Hedges Culler, a well-known resident of Frederick City and county his entire life, died at his home, 21 East Third Street Tuesday afternoon at one o'clock, following a protracted illness of complications, aged 44 years, 7 months, and 17 days. He was a son of Mrs. Temple Hargett Culler and the late George B. Culler of Frederick, and besides his mother is survived by his wife, Mrs. Vera Marino Culler, and the following children: George Richard, Rose Marie, and Ann Elizabeth Culler, all at home: also, a son by a former marriage. Arthur Vernon Culler, who is now in the infantry of the A. U. S. located in Germany. Surviving also are one sister, Mrs. Arthur R. Remsberg. and one brother. Floyd L. Culler, both of Frederick, besides a number of nieces and nephews. Mr. Culler was a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church, and served in World War I. At the time of his death, he was a member of the American Legion He had been superintendent of the Municipal Disposal Plant of Frederick ever since it has been in operation, about seven years. Before that time, he had been an employe of the city for a number of years, being foreman of a corps of carpenters, which trade he tiad learned as a young man. and followed for some years. The body rests at the funeral home. 8 East Patrick Street, where friends may call after one o'clock this afternoon until time of services, which will be held there on Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock. Burial will be held in the cemetery at Feagaville.
