Ruth M. Boulden
Ruth Marie Boulden, age 91, of Elkton, MD passed away Wednesday, October 29, 2014. Born in Wilmington, DE, on November 1, 1922, she was the daughter of the late William H. and Mary O'Hara Satterfield. Mrs. Boulden was a homemaker and had provided child care in her home for many years. She had also worked at Triumph, Cecil Whig, and several restaurants in Elkton. She was a member of Immaculate Conception Church, where she belonged to the Blessed Virgin Mary Sodality, and Singerly Fire Company Ladies Auiliary. Survivors include her children, Charles M. Boulden (Anne), E. Ann Magaw (Tom), Regina Lewis (Frank), Ruthie Patterson (Mahlon), all of Elkton, MD and Mary Etta Breton (Dr. Ronald), Naples, FL; siblings, William Satterfield, Kennett Square, PA, and Ann Mears, Chesapeake City, MD; 14 grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Boulden was preceded in death by her husband, G. Mitchell Boulden; and siblings, Frances Denver, Mary Satterfield, Regina Hall, Theresa Harrigan and Margaret McIntire. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m., Friday, October 31, 2014, at Immaculate Conception Church, 454 Bow St., Elkton, MD, where visitiation will be held from 9:45 - 10:45 a.m. Interment will follow in Immaculate Conception Cemetery, Cherry Hill, MD.
