Robert Andrews, 87, died of natural causes at his home in Sherman Oaks, Calif. on May 11, 2006. He was born in Notus, Idaho. He attended the University of Idaho and graduated in 1946 with a B.A. in Business Administration. He was a member of the Beta Theta Pi Fraternity. He was a Major in the U.S. Army Air Corp and served as a pilot from 1941 to 1954. He married Catharine Kittredge in 1943. They had two children, Randy of Boise, Idaho and Cathie of Fair Oaks, Calif. He pursued a career with Equitable Life Assurance in California and started his own insurance agency in 1966. He married Marjorie Laurie in 1976 and they lived in Sherman Oaks. Marjorie predeceased him by 4 months. He is survived by his son, daughter, step daughter, son in law, four grandchildren and one great-granddaughter who could always get a smile out of him. There will be a private burial at Lower Boise Cemetery and an open house for friends and family at Randy's home in Boise. This will start at 4:30 p.m. Saturday, July 29. Please come by and toast his life. In lieu of flowers, donations may be given to the Anna Andrews Music Scholarship at Albertson College of Idaho, Caldwell, ID. Idaho arrangements are by Summers Funeral Homes, Boise, Idaho.
