CALDWELL — Services for Mrs. Beatrice Margaret McCool, 51, of Route 2, Caldwell, who died Monday evening at her home, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Flahiff Funeral Chapel by the Rev. Ken Simonds of the United Methodist Church. Interment will be at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens.
Mrs. McCool was born April 11, 1924, in Flint, Mich., and moved with her parents to California and later to Idaho. She married Dan Abbott in 1940, and they lived in the Payette-Caldwell area. She later married Gene Wixom in 1973. He died in 1974. She graduated from the College of Idaho in 1971, and taught in Caldwell schools for a time. She married James S. McCool last March 23 in Ephrata, Wash., and they had lived near Greenleaf.
She was a member of the Payette United Methodist Church.
Surviving in addition to Mr. McCool are four sons, Dan Abbott, Milwaukie, Ore., Wayne Abbott, Key West, Fla., and Rick and Gregg Abbott, both of Caldwell; her mother, Mrs. Gladys E. Eguia, Glenns Ferry; three brothers; Archie MacPhail and Joe Eguia, both of Glenns Ferry, and James F. Van Bibber, Los Angeles, and three grandchildren.
Friends may call at the chapel until 9 p.m. today.
