William Coughran funeral today

Funeral services for William M. Coughran, 80, husband of Le Grand pioneer Minnie McClure Coughran of San Francisco, were held today at 1 p.m. at the Hann Brothers Mortuary with Rev. Roy Whiting officiating.

Burial was in the Turner Helm Cemetery in Le Grand.

Coughran died Christmas day in San Francisco after a lengthy illness.

LE GRAND—Funeral services were held in Merced Thursday, Dec. 27th, at 1 p.m. for the late William M. Coughran, 80, of San Francisco, who died at his home there Christmas Day.
Hann Brothers Mortuary was in charge of arrangements, with Rev. Roy Q. Whiting of Merced officiating. Burial was in the Turner-Helm Cemetery in Le Grand.
The deceased was the husband of Minnie McClure Coughran, a pioneer of Mariposa county, her parents being the late Mr. and Mrs. Henry McClure, whose home was located on the White Rock road.
The couple have resided in San Francisco over a long period of years.
Attending the funeral with Mrs. Coughran were Mrs. Viola Ransome Wood of San Francisco and Mrs. Georgia Lightly of Dinuba.

Funeral services wee recently held in the Hann Brothers Mortuary for William Marcus Coughran, 79, formerly of Mariposa County. He died in San Francisco Christmas Day.
Coughran was a native of Mariposa County but resided in the Bay City since 1917. He was a member of the Dinuba Lodge 385, F. & A. M., and Dinuba Lodge 381, I.O.O.F.
He leaves his widow, Minnie L. Coughran, of San Francisco. The final services were conducted by the Rev. Roy Q. Whiting. Burial was in the McClure family plot, in the Turner-Helm Cemetery, near Le Grand. Pallbearers were Earl Southward, Glen Gillette, Wade Morgan, Howard Raynor, Arthur Waller and Emery Preston.

Mr. Coughran died in San Francisco December 25. He was a native of Mariposa county but had been a resident of San Francisco since 1917. He was a member of Dinuba Lodge No. 385, F&AM, and Dinuba Lodge No. 381, IOOF.

His is survived by his widow, Minnie L. Couhran(sic), of San Francisco.
