Ernest Edmonsdon, age 71, only ill a couple of weeks, an illness caused primarily by a slight scratch on the thumb, which developed into blood poisoning he was a highly esteemed and respected resident of the Lake District he passed away at 8:15 am at the Watsonville Hosp.
He was a pioneer in the Lake district, having lived there since 1896. He followed the occupation of a farmer. He is survived by his widow, Eva Edmondson and 2 children Ray & Mrs. Buel Thayer, both of Lake District.
Ernest was a very earnest Christian, a devot member of the Baptist Church. He was one of the founders of the Lake District Baptist Chruch which was afterwards merged into the local Baptist Chruch. He was a native of Ohio.
Ernest death will bring keen regret to a wide circle of friends and acquaintances as he was a man universally respected and esteemed for his upright character and his many excellent qualities as a citizen.. The funeral will be held tomorrow, Thursday, 22 May 1930 at 2 pm from Mehl's Funeral home. the interment will take place at the Lake District Cemetery (Hambey) in Prunedale (Register0Pajaronian May 21, 1930)
