Services for Larry Anderson of Red Bluff will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Nevada City. Graveside services will follow at Greenwood Memorial Gardens Cemetery in Grass Valley.
Mr. Anderson died Thursday, April 11, in an aircraft crash in Willows. He was 65.
He was born May 31, 1936, in Santa Monica to Paul and Esther Anderson. Mr. Anderson was raised and attended school in Southern California. He attended Long Beach City College, where he studied engineering. He married Elaine C. Neely on Jan. 25, 1959, in Santa Monica.
Mr. Anderson worked at McDonnell Douglas Aircraft Co. as an engineer from 1962 to 1992, when he and his wife retired and moved to Red Bluff. He was a member of the Experimental Aircraft Association, and the Aircraft Owners Pilot Association. He enjoyed flying his Ballanca and Bonanza airplanes.
He is survived by his daughters and sons-in-law Karen Anderson and William Orr of Crestline and Erin and Chuck Hemmert of Grass Valley; daughter Sharon Anderson of Atwater; brother and sister-in-law, Darryl and Judy Anderson; sister Loraine Anderson; sister and brother-in-law, Marlyn and Tom Poundstone of Southern California; and grandchildren Nicole, Jacob, Dillon, Logan, Quinn and Reece. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Arrangements are under the direction of Hooper and Weaver Mortuary.
