Deward Booher, 73, of Orma, died Monday, April 10, 1995, at Roane General Hospital, after an extended illness.

He was born in Calhoun County, a son of the late Ralph and Oda Luzader Booher. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II, and was retired from Spencer State Hospital. He was a member of Ebenezer Baptist Church, Orma.
Surviving are his wife, Freda White Booher; two daughters, Loretta Sampson of Marion, Ind., and Carol Swearinger of Chloe; one son, David Booher of Ripley; four sisters, Helena Fulks of Arnoldsburg, Virginia Cunningham of Norton, Ohio, Janet Craddock of Vienna and Susie Rauch of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio; one brother, Theodore Booher of
Emlenton, Pa.; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Grover Booher.
Services will be held Thursday, 10:30 a.m, at Stump Funeral Home, Arnoldsburg. Burial will be in Orma Cemetery.

I love your grandson Craig so VERY much. I just wish that I would have been able to have met you before you passed away. Your spirit is very much still alive, with the stories from your grandson and Freda. <3
