Mr. Adamson was born October 1, 1915 in Onego, W.Va. and was the son of the late Vale Roy and Rose Adamson Malberg.
He was a self-employed truck driver until 1969 and retired from Hinkle's Trucking in Circleville, W.Va.
He was a member of Local 413 in Cumberland, Md. and Onego Church of the Brethren.
Surviving are his wife, Virginia Dare Adamson; one son, John A. Adamson, Onego, W.Va.; 2 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren, and 2 great-step-grandchildren.
The Rev. Harvey Vance will conduct the funeral at 11 a.m. today at Onego Church of the Brethren.
Burial will be at North Fork Memorial Cemeteryin Riverton, W.Va.
Memorial donations may be made to Onego Church of the Brethren in care of Ronna Thompson, P.O. Box 1073, Onego, W.Va. 26886 or the North Fork Rescue Squad, in care of Jerry Bowers, Seneca Rocks, W.Va. 26884
