Rosary was said for John Arreche Sunday evening in St. James Catholic Church in Cedarville and final rites were held Monday morning with interment in the Eagleville cemetery. Mr. Arreche passed away January 13, 1967, in the Cedarville hospital. He had been in ill health for some time.
John Arreche was born April 5, 1889 in Burguete, Spain where he spent his youth. In 1906 he arrived in Elko and worked for some time for the Williams Sheep Company. He later was employed by the Home Camp Company out of Eagleville.
November 9, 1918 he was united in marriage to Jennie Laxague and for most of their married life they operated a ranch north of Eagleville, retiring about ten years ago and moving to a home in Cedarville.
Mr. Arreche is survived by his wife Jennie of Cedarville, one son, Frank Arreche of Cedarville, one daughter Fay Harington of San Mateo; three grandchildren, Suanne Cole of Chicago and Louis and Peggie Arreche of Cedarville; a sister Mrs. Josephine Salsberry of Vancouver, three stepsons, George and John Laxague of Cedarville and Pete Laxague of Reno.
