Marie Elizabeth passed away at the age of 81 at the Plumas District Hospital in Quincy, CA. She was born to Brady and Marie Bunda Shelly and had lived in Cromberg for 22 years, coming from Reno, NV. Mrs. Bourke worked for Nevada Bell and was a record clerk at Washoe County Sheriff’s Department for 20 years. She attended Sparks elementary school and Sparks High School. She was a member of Graeagle Community Church in CA, Order of the Eastern Star in Reno Chapter and was on a Quincy Bowling League. Her husband, Tom Sr. died Nov 6, 1979 and a brother preceded her in death. Surviving a son, Tom Jr. of Sparks; daughter, Diane Polen of Cromberg; brother, Carl Shelly of Reno; three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
