Funeral services will be held of Elaine E. Barceloux, 76, of Willows at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 24, at F.D. Sweet & Son of Willows. She died Nov. 19, 1997 at Chico Creek Healthcare Center in Chico.
Mrs. Barceloux was born Sept. 28, 1921 in Santa Paula to Harry and Grace Edde. She married Edgar Barceloux July 9, 1944.
Since January 1956 Elaine and Edgar Barceloux owned and operated Barceloux Auto Supply Inc. in Willows. Prior to that both had operated Flying A Gas station in Middletown, Lake County.
A 49-year active member of the Native Daughters of the Golden West, Berryessa Parlor, she was Past President and currently the secretary. She served as State Grand Officer and was chairperson of the Childrens Foundation for many years. She was an avid bowler and golfer. She also traveled extensively throughout Europe and the United states.
Survivors include son, Alan E. and wife Judy of Willows; daughter, Marianne B. Greer and husband Rod of Arcata; and brother, Herb Edde and wife Edith of Gilroy. There are three grandchildren. She was predeceased Oct. 14, 1987 by her husband, Edgar, and in January 1989 by a daughter, Carol Barceloux.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Native Daughters of the Golden West Childrens Foundation, c/o the mortuary.
