Lloyd C. Adams, 75, of St. Marys, died Sunday morning at Selby General Hospital in Marietta, OH. He was born at Next in Tyler County, a son of the late Clark and Lennie Summers Adams. He was a retired sheet metal worker with the Marietta Metal Products. He was a member of the Apostolic Faith Church in St. Marys and was a veteran of World War II. He is survived by his wife, Doris Lucille Turner Adams; four sons, G.S. Adams of Raven Rock, Lloyd Adams Jr. Of Newport, OH, James R. Adams of Shawnee and Denver C. Adams of Belmont; seven daughters, Sharon June Winland of Belmont, Doreen Lee Freeman of Okeechobee, FL, Judith Lynn Adams of Belmont, Mada Jean Adams of St. Marys, Crystal Dawn Barnes of Belmont, Rebecca Louise Adams of St. Marys and Elizabeth Joy Peckens of St. Marys; five sisters; two brothers; and 16 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother. Services were held at 1pm Wednesday at the Apostolic Faith Church in St. Marys with elders Russ Maston and Warren Sullivan officiating. Burial was in the IOOF Cemetery in St. Marys.
