Requiem mass was said yesterday morning at St. Joseph's Catholic Church here for Andrew Duni, a retired dairyman and longtime resident of Los Banos.
Duni died Friday in a local hospital. He was 90.
Born in Idro, Lombardi, Italy, Duni came to the United States in 1911, settling awhile in Eureka. After he moved to Los Banos in 1941, he established a dairy in the Volta area, which he turned over to his sons when he retired in 1952.
He is survived by two daughters, Cecelia Nendza of San Lorenzo and Loretta Ferro of Los Banos; three sons, Emelio, George and Andrew Jr. of Los Banos; 10 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Rosary services were held Monday evening at Whitehurst Funeral Chapel in Los Banos. Entombment was in Calvary Mausoleum in Los Banos.
