Graveside services for William T. Aitken, 85, Winslow, Ark., formerly of Moline, are 2 p.m. Wednesday at Greenview Memorial Garden, Silvis.

Visitation is 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at Esterdahl Mortuary Ltd., Moline.

Mr. Aitken died Saturday, June 8, 1991, in Winslow.

He was born Nov. 13, 1905, in Mystic Iowa. He married LaVerne Moore Jan. 12, 1972, in Winslow, Ark.

He was employed for 17 years in the maintenance department of the East Moline and Moline Public Schools, retiring in 1971.

He was a member of United Methodist Church, Winslow.

He enjoyed fishing, hunting and golf.

Survivors include the widow; a daughter, Judy McRae, and sons, William and Robert "Dick" Aitken, all of Moline; a stepdaughter, Jean Bruns, Winslow, Joan Francis, Milford, Ill., Janet Montgomery, Davenport, and Pat Roesner, Pickney, Mich., stepsons, Harold and Stanley Moore, both of Mountainberg, Ark.; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and a brother, Robert Aitken, Moline.
