Donald Lee "Rock" Adams, 46, of Charles Town, died Monday, December 29, 1997, at the Frederick Memorial Hospital, Frederick, Maryland.
Born March 8, 1951, in Charles Town, he was the son of the late Marvin Lee and Ethel Mae Clipp Adams.
He was a graduate of Charles Town High School, 1969.
He was employed at Turf Auto Sales in Charles Town.
He is survived by one aunt, Thelma Whitmore of Charles Town; two uncles, Charles Adams and Franklin W Adams, both of Rippon, WV; and close friends, George and Billie Frame of Martinsburg,with whom he formerly resided; and seven cousins.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Marvin G Adams.
Services will be held Thursday at 11:00 AM at the Melvin T Strider Colonial Funeral Home in Ranson, WV.
The Reverend James Chambly will officiate. Burial will be in Edge Hill Cemetery in Charles Town.
Friends will be received today at the funeral home from 7-9 pm.
