| Birth: | May 4, 1930 | | Death: | Feb. 3, 2003 |  Claude G. "Bud" Bailey, age 72, of French Creek, WV died Monday, February 3, 2003 at his home. He was born May 4, 1930 in Buckhannon, WV a son of the late Troy Gay and Sarah Donnas Simmons Bailey. He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Betty L. Black Bailey, whom he married on November 3, 1952. Also surviving are one son, Randy Bailey and four daughters, Debbie Woody, Barbara Lee, Linda Bailey, and Melissa Taylor. Grandsons: Chris Woody, B.J. Bailey, Jeremy Lee, Thomas Lee, Jonathan Lee, Jordan Taylor, Jayce Bailey. Granddaughters: Misty Woody, Corrina Fox, Jessica Casto, Casey Kelley, Alexis Lee, Sarah Lee, Lauren Poling, Maddie Bailey,Ashland Bailey. Many great grandchildren. Mr. Bailey worked at Corhart's in the maintenance department. He served in the Korean War. He was a member of the Faith Tabernacle Church of Buckhannon and a member of United Brick and Clay Workers Local #477.
