Mrs. Bertha Falls,66, wife of George Falls of Beech, died at eight o'clock Tuesday morning after an illness of five years.
Mrs. Falls was born November 23,1881 in Roane County daughter of Mack and Tude Mary Wilmouth. She was a member of the Baptist church at Uler, Roane county.
In addition to her husband she is survived by the following children:Hubert Falls of Beech; Herman Falls of Akron, O., Lulu Falls, Rainelle; Mrs. Rosie Hicks, Roane county; Orva Falls, Milo; Mrs. Millie Bishop, Beech; Everett, John, Arnold and Roy, at home and Thurman Falls of Big Bend. Funeral services will be held today at the Wayne school at Beech at 2 p.m. with the Rev and Mrs. Charles Wilkinson officiating. Burial will be made in the Bailey cemetery. Stump funeral home of Grantsville is in charge of the arrangements.
