Dennis Asbury, 75, died April 24, 2005, at his home.
He was born January 5, 1930 at East Lynn, W.Va., a son of the late Frank and Sadie Lemaster Asbury.
He served in the Army for 21 years, including service in the Korean War and Vietnam War.
Survivors include a daughter, Denise Averill and husband Chris of Port St. Lucie; sister, Odessa Mills of Wayne; and brothers, Larry, Franklin D. and Neely Asbury, all of Huntington, W.Va., and Ervin Asbury of Jacksonville.
He was preceded in death by four sisters, Ocie Blevins, Seay Osburn, Zelma Asbury, and Wilma Asbury; three brothers, Ellis Asbury, Chester Asbury, and Carl Asbury.
A service will be April 26 at Morris Funeral Home Chapel, Wayne. Burial will be in the Mose Asbury Cemetery, East Lynn, WV.
