Robert "Bob" Adamson, 69, passed away February 25, 2000 following a long battle with cancer.
Mr. Adamson was born September 3, 1930, in Magna, Utah, the son of Floyd Alexander and Julia Ethel Hancock Adamson. He married Ruby Veda Christensen in Salt Lake City on February 4, 1953. Mr. Adamson was a retired Calibration Technician for the Tooele Army Depot. He served in the United States Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of the LDS Church. Bob loved bowling, boating, camping and spending time with his family.
Survivors include his wife, Veda; West Valley City; son, Byron (Verla) Adamson, Gunnison; daughters, Joan (Gerald) Ludwig, Magna, and Cheryl (Bill) Ware, Sandy; 11 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers; and one sister.
The family would like to thank the Care Source Home Health and Hospice staff and the wonderful staff at the Infinia Medical Center for the care and concern given to Bob and his family. In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate any contributions be made to Care Source Home Health and Hospice, 5882 South 900 East, Suite 201, Salt Lake City, Utah, 84121 and/or The American Cancer Society, 941 East 3300 South, Salt Lake City, 84106.
Services will be conducted Tuesday, February 29, 2000 at 11 a.m. in the Goff Mortuary Chapel. Family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. Monday, and one hour prior to services on Tuesday. at Goff Mortuary, 8090 South State, Midvale. Interment, West Jordan City Cemetery.
