Our dear brother and friend, Gary Reed Allan, age 62, passed away February 26, 2004 at his home in Nephi, Utah.

He was born November 12, 1941 in Springville, Utah to Lee Merle and Madge Evans Allan.

Gary grew up in Fountain Green, Utah. He joined the U.S. Navy at age 16 and served nine years with a tour of duty in Viet Nam. He worked many years for General Electric as a machinist. He enjoyed camping, fishing, hunting and gardening and was a member of the LDS Church. He was a friend to all who knew him. He was married three times and was preceded in death by his 3rd wife, Joyce; his parents; and brother, Joe.

Survived by his sisters and brothers, Myrleen (Harold) Liddiard of Nephi, Pat Capps of Salt Lake City, UT, Dean Allan of Seattle, WA, Rick (SueLynn) of Spring City, UT, Kent Allan (Katie) of Fountain Green, UT; nieces and nephews, and families.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 1, 2004 at the Vine Bluff Cemetery. Friends and family may call Monday from 10-10:45 a.m. at the Anderson Funeral Home, 94 West 300 North Nephi, UT prior to the services.
