Obituary - Kelly Abram, age 47, beloved son and brother, passed away peace-fully March 18, 2010. Kelly was the first of five children and was born in Salt Lake City, Utah on April 4th, 1962 to Joseph and Elaine Porter Abram.
Kelly grew up in Tooele, Richmond, Bountiful, Kaysville and Fruit Heights. In 1980, he graduated from Davis High School. Kelly served an honorable LDS mission in the Dallas Texas Mission from 1981 through 1983. After returning, Kelly worked and attended college. He later received a degree in English literature from the University of Utah. Kelly settled in Layton, Utah and began his career as a postal carrier, which he enjoyed greatly.
One of his special joys was talking to and caring for the many people along his routes in the Foothill and Rose Park areas. His hobbies were reading, building models, collecting, and playing golf.
Kelly was very close to his mother Elaine, who preceded him in death. He looked forward to seeing her again. Kelly is survived by his father Joseph, stepmother Nancy and his brother and sisters: Teri (Doug) Nielson, Angie (Dan) Abram, Rob (Liz) Abram and Katie (Chris) Snow.
