Mike R. Barela, 72, died July 14, 2007.
Born October 23, 1934 in Truchas, New Mexico to Eva Trujillo Barela. Married Verlaine Bills on Dec. 22, 1961. He served in the US Army. Mike worked for Kennecott Copper for 30 years, Jordan School District for 13 years, but Mike's greatest joy was spending time with his family.
Survived by his wife; children Glenna Winn, Cindy (Don) Labrum and RaeGene (Andrew) Berry; nine grandchildren Issac (Summer), Brittany, Shawn (Megan), Jewlene (Shea), Whitlee, Mikelyn, Tyrrell, Haedyn and Jentrie and two great-grandchildren Ryin and Gage. Preceded in death by mother, brothers and sister.
Funeral Service were held Thurs. at the Rosecreek 5th LDS Ward.
