Orpha Jane Lish Ault, 86, Deweyville, Utah, died Tuesday at the Cooley Memorial Hospital of causes incident to age.

She was born on April 18, 1855 in Deweyville, Utah, she was a daughter of Marion Alexander and Martha Matilda Dewey Lish. She was raised and educated in Deweyville and Logan, Utah.

She married Thomas R Ault on December 21, 1904 in Deweyville, Utah. They resided in Logan and Deweyville. Thomas died on September 19, 1965.

An active member of the LDS Church, she had served as President of the Religion Class and as a Primary and MIA Teacher and also as a Sunday School Teacher for more than 50 years.

She had served as a Correspondent from the Deweyville Area for the Tremonton Leader for 37 years.

Surviving are two daughters: Emma Matilda Ault, who was born on April 11,1906 and died on April 16, 1978 and Mabel Virginia Ault, who was born on February 18, 1913; 4 grandchildern and 12 great-grandchildren; also 3 great-great grandchildren; also two brothers and one sister, Lloyd E Lish and Mrs A R (Lettie) Burbank, Deweyville, Utah; Horace A Lish, Modesto, California.

Burial was held in the Deweyville Cemetery, Deweyville, Utah.
