In loving memory of Kelly Elton Abel, who died Tuesday, July 13, 2004 of natural causes at his home in South Jordan. Kelly was born March 7, 1955 in American Fork, son of Fred and Beverly Richards. He graduated from Hillcrest High School in 1973 where he was an All State Basketball player for coach Art Hughes. He loved all sports, had a creative mind and was an excellent student. He was an Eagle Scout and enjoyed hunting, fishing and camping. Survived by his father and mother, Fred and Beverly Richards, grandmother, Gwen Richards, sister, Angela (Peter) Mazeika; brothers, Bruce (Sharlene) Richards and Alan (Stacy) Richards; uncles, Elder Merrill (Marilyn) Bateman, Blaine (Christie) Bateman, John (Gail) Richards, Steven (Carol) Richards; aunts, Sandy (Stephen) Hunter, Carol Richards, Rosemary (Brent) Lind, Anne (Larry) Bowen; six nieces, six nephews and numerous cousins.
