OBITUARY FOR HOWARD ALSBURY
--------
PROSSER -- Howard Alsbury, 61, of 1304 Vista, Grandview, died Tuesday (Nov. 23, 1976) in Prosser Memorial Hospital.

He was a retired construction contractor and was owner of the Alsbury Apartments and Hardware Store in Benton City where he spent most of his life. He moved to Grandview two years ago.

Survivors include wife, Nora; son, Larry, Prosser; daughters, Barbara Webley, Grandview, Karen Lehman, Tacoma, Nancy Walter, Fremont, Calif.; brother, LeeRoy, Tacoma; sisters, Ferol Owens, Arlington, Wash., Velda Noland, Yakima; 13 grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday (Nov. 27th) in the Flint Funeral Home with the Rev. Manuel Etter officiating. Burial will be in the Evergreen Cemetery, Benton City.

Friends may call at the funeral home until 8 p.m. today and 10 a.m. until noon Saturday.

Howard was married to Nora Mae Montgomery on Oct. 17, 1932 in Prosser, Washington. To this union were born four children: Barbara Mae, Karen Ann, Larry Thomas and Nancy Lee. They lost a set of twin girls in May of 1935.
