CHELAN - Van W. Adams, 68, of Manson died Thursday in the Chelan Community Hospital after a long illness. Born at Siloam Springs, Arkansas, on August 8, 1884, he came to Wenatchee in 1910 and was married to Mary E. Thompson. They moved to Manson in 1921.

Surviving, besides his wife, are three half sisters, Mrs. Ruth Rowhauser of Anacortes and Bernice in Hawaii; and three grandchildren.

The Smith Funeral Home of Chelan is in charge of arrangements.
