Darlene Atchley, 56, of Vancouver, Washington, passed away October 13, 2011, in Milwaukie, Oregon, due to pneumonia.
A very caring and giving person, she loved family, fishing, the outdoors, animals, and nature. She enjoyed playing piano, kibitzing, smoking and drinking coffee.
Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, Winfred Carthel and Lucy Elmeda Atchley; siblings, Sandra Faye Wilson, David Ellis, James Ray and Darwin. She is survived by her siblings, Lloyd Albert, Janice Sue Young, Michael Alton, John Lee and extended family.
Graveside services were Saturday November 12, 2011 at Brush Prairie Cemetery, followed with refreshments at Brush Prairie Baptist Church in Brush Prairie, Washington.

James Ray Atchley and Darlene Atchley were brother and sister. Same Father and Mother, Winfred Carthel Atchley and Lucy Elmeda (Christopher Turner) Atchley. Submitted by Janice Sue Atchley (Pavlicek Young), surviving sister of James and Darlene in September, 2017. The headstone has since been altered to say beloved brother and sister.
